This winter, “The Beauty” will make audiences consider how far they would go to achieve perfection.

Created and written by executive producers Ryan Murphy and Matthew Hodgson with four episodes already out, “The Beauty” will follow a pair of FBI agents – played by Evan Peters and Rebecca Hall – who are sent to Paris to investigate a mysterious string of international supermodel deaths. Don’t forget, “Memory of a Killer” is here.

“Memory of a Killer” premiered Jan. 25, and crime-thriller fans are already gripping their remotes in suspense. This gritty new Fox series stars Patrick Dempsey as Angelo Flannery/Doyle, a hitman juggling two lives – one as a fearsome New York City assassin and the other as a doting upstate salesman and father – all while grappling with the devastating onset of Alzheimer’s, which threatens to erase everything he cares about. Angelo’s expertly compartmentalized double life begins to unravel as his past hits cast shadows over his present, especially when he suspects his wife’s death wasn’t an accident and his pregnant daughter’s safety is suddenly at stake.

Developed by Ed Whitmore and Tracey Malone and inspired by the award-winning Belgian film “De Zaak Alzheimer,” the show promises to be a cerebral thriller where every lost thought could be a clue – or a catastrophe. The ensemble features Michael Imperioli, Richard Harmon, Odeya Rush and more, and the series blends pulse-pounding action with poignant emotional stakes.

With its fusion of high-intensity hits and heart-wrenching vulnerability, “Memory of a Killer” aims to stick in viewers’ minds long after the credits roll – and before Angelo’s might fade away.

“Bridgerton” (Netflix)

“Bridgerton” will soon be back with more swoon-worthy romantic escapism.

The fourth season of the Netflix sensation will feature eight episodes to be released in two parts, with four episodes out Jan. 29 and another quartet to come Feb. 26. It has been almost two years since the show’s third season was released in 2024, but the new installment will feature the return of past characters such as Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and his wife Kate (Simone Ashley) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and his wife Penelope (Nicola Coughlan).

Pulling from the third book in the “Bridgerton” novel series titled “An Offer from a Gentleman,” the new season will primarily focus on the love story of Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson), the second-eldest of the Bridgerton children. With an influence from the timeless story of “Cinderella,” Benedict’s tale promises to navigate the challenges imposed by class differences as he falls for a maid named Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha). Also competing for Benedict’s affections are a pair of sisters marking their debut into society – Rosamund Li (Michelle Mao) and Posy Li (Isabella Wei).

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, it seems only fitting for viewers to get to watch more characters within the “Bridgerton” universe pursue their chance at happily ever after.

“56 Days” (Amazon Prime Video)

“56 Days” is a romance with a twist in which secrets are the main characters.

Starting as a meet-cute and evolving to a murder mystery, “56 Days” is based on Catherine Ryan Howard’s number one best-selling novel of the same name. The show follows Ciara Wyse and Oliver Kennedy, played by Disney Channel and Nickelodeon stars Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia, respectively, who meet at a supermarket and quickly fall for each other. Almost two months later – 56 days to be exact – a heavily decomposed body is found in Kennedy’s apartment. Jumping back and forth between Wyse and Kennedy’s relationship and the day of the investigation, the show will unravel around the question of ‘Who killed whom?’ Prime Video’s “56 Days” will premiere its complete 8-episode season on Feb. 18.

Besides Cameron and Jogia, the cast will include murder mystery star Karla Souza as Lee Reardon and Dorian Missick as Karl Connolly – the two police officers investigating the case. Although the official trailer maintains the show’s mystery, the book provides some general plot points for viewers: “56 Days” is set in Dublin, Ireland, and takes place at the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown. Although the time period does not play a big role in the story, it influences Wyse and Kennedy’s fast-paced romance. The start of lockdown drives the two main characters to move in together, despite only knowing each other for 36 days, and the cost is deadly.

With an enticing plot, one day will be all it takes for viewers to be glued to the screen.
