After 18 months of remote learning, the previously desolate UCLA campus is now brimming with excitement and anticipation for the upcoming school year. From the Enormous Activities Fair to zombie tag, many Bruins were able to partake in the week zero traditions reflecting the True Bruin Welcome.
Four years of undergraduate and then straight off to graduate school – for so long, this has been a frequent track in our education system. However, several Bruins on the pre-med route have found benefits in taking a gap year before resuming the train.

As a result, volunteering and service-learning have taken on a whole new look with service-based classes and organizations adapting to our new reality.
