A peer tutoring program has expanded its services with funds from increased student fees this academic year.
The Academic Advancement Program, which provides peer learning and academic support to students, received additional funding from the Social Justice Referendum.

This year’s Graduate Students Association elections will include five candidates running, three of whom are running unopposed, and a referendum. Graduate students can begin voting on MyUCLA from Wednesday to Tuesday.

Congressman Ted Lieu will be the keynote speaker for UCLA School of Law’s 2018 commencement, the school announced Wednesday.
The law school invited Lieu to deliver the keynote address because of his activism in Washington and commitment to the state of California, said dean of UCLA School of Law Jennifer Mnookin in a statement.

The Undocumented Student Program provided $500 in financial aid for each of 19 undocumented students using crowdfunded money collected last quarter.

Muslim students are continuing to pray at an outdoor loading area due to the lack of private prayer spaces on campus.
The Muslim Student Association currently holds its general Muslim prayers at the loading area behind Kerckhoff Hall, a public space that is often disrupted by foot traffic and heavy construction activities related to the renovations in Ackerman Union.

Associated Students UCLA is a multimillion-dollar organization that provides student services and activities that the university does not fund. It oversees the Undergraduate Students Association Council, Graduate Students Association, Communications Board, campus services and enterprises.
