Students filled Meyerhoff Park as they waited for and celebrated the announcement of the undergraduate student government election.
2018 marks the 17th year for Dance Marathon at UCLA, and students danced for 26 hours straight, fundraising and spreading awareness for the Pediatric AIDS Coalition.
Students came out to Bruin Plaza and Wilson Plaza to take part in a carnival and bonfire before UCLA football takes on USC on Saturday at the LA Coliseum.
During the 2017 Undergraduate Students Association Council results, members of Bruins United won two contested positions, while independent candidates won nine seats on next year’s council.
Hundreds of students powered through 26 continuous hours of dancing for Dance Marathon. This year, Dance Marathon raised $434,515 to fight pediatric AIDS.
