UCLA men’s soccer (1-6-2, 0-5-2 Pac-12) fell 3-0 to No. 9 Stanford (7-1-1, 5-1-1) at Wallis Annenberg Stadium on Sunday – finishing the 90 minutes of regulation with 10 men on the pitch.
The Bruins are on track to break a new record in program history – a losing record.
UCLA men’s soccer (1-5-1, 0-4-1 Pac-12) dropped all three points to California (2-3, Pac-12 record) in a 2-0 loss in Berkeley on Saturday, marking the fourth consecutive result of this sort for the Bruins.
With half of the 2021 season in the books, the Bruins have an opportunity to record their first Pac-12 conference win Saturday.
UCLA men’s soccer (1-4-1, 0-3-1 Pac-12) will travel to Witter Rugby Field to face California (1-3-0) and kick off its final back-to-back road trip of the season.
Away from home, the Bruins fell once again.
In Saturday’s afternoon contest against No. 3 Stanford (5-0-0, 3-0-0), UCLA men’s soccer (1-3-1, 0-2-1) took a 4-0 defeat at Laird Q.
Despite the loss Friday, the Bruins still have new recruits at their disposal.
Last week against Loyola Marymount, a scoring opportunity came for UCLA men’s soccer (1-1) off a free kick taken by junior transfer and forward Kevin Diaz in the 87th minute.
