Katelynn Rodriguez, a first-year human biology and society student, said she hopes long dining hall lines put pressure on administrative figures to recognize the importance of food service workers.

“It’s very empowering to see people around you fight for what they deserve, and it’s incredibly saddening to see the disrespect to our workers,” Rodriguez said.
