In an email to constituents, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said recovery efforts aimed at people impacted by fires across Los Angeles County are underway. The city is working to aid people at the Disaster Recovery Center, stop price gouging and give expedited planning permission to people hoping to rebuild, she said in the email.

“As we push through these devastating wildfires, the City is taking urgent action to provide resources for wildfire victims and to rebuild and recover, together,” Bass said in the email.
