Hosted by UCLA-based event-planning organization House of Balloons, the Westwoodstock music festival took place Saturday on Broxton Avenue. Before the event, the three student founders, John Colarusso, Tim Connors and Jonathan Liu, shared their inspiration and motivation to launch the event.
Vespucci is a clothing company that creates sustainable fashion by using materials such as hemp as a durable, environmentally friendly alternative to cotton. This year’s College Night at the Getty Center celebrated Los Angeles as a City of Artists for its leadership in creative diversity. Students and other visitors at Monday’s event were invited to explore exhibits produced by artists from the local community.

This two-day event explored how punk culture has brought about systemic interruptions and the impact of marginalized groups on the movement.
Pragathi Guruprasad, a second-year political science student, shares her experience as a professional Indian playback singer and actress. Guruprasad has appeared in numerous Tamil movies after gaining popularity through the reality singing competition Super Singer Junior in 2012.
