The Office of Residential Life held a forum last week to update
students on the progress of housing construction and renovation
projects on campus.
The Housing Information Forum took place Thursday at the North
Campus Auditorium and was organized jointly by ORL and the On
Campus Housing Council’s policy review board.
The first household hazardous waste disposal facility in West
Los Angeles, a joint project by the City of Los Angeles and the
UCLA Office of Environmental Health and Safety, opened on March
25.
Students who skate to class might want to think twice, as new
signs forbidding skateboarding on campus allow police to cite them
now.
Signs that read “No Skating or Skateboarding” were
put in Bruin Plaza on March 15 by the UCLA Facilities Management
Department.
After months of practice, a UCLA law school team will be in the
Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition after an
18-year hiatus.
The tournament, one of the most prestigious in the world, is
organized by the International Law Students Association.
