On May 19, Long Beach trio half•alive performed the final show of their North American tour in Los Angeles. The band followed opening performances by Dev Lemons and Tessa Violet.

Almost 1,000 members of the Los Angeles community marched to City Hall on Monday to celebrate the accomplishments of the labor movement and advocate for workers’ citizenship and housing rights for immigrants.

Following a four year hiatus, the Taiwanese American Student Association performed its 21st production of Taiwanese Culture Night in Royce Hall. The production, titled “Make it With You,” focuses on the struggles of defining one’s own identity and breaking free from the expectations set by others.

The Pediatric AIDS Coalition hosted its annual 19-hour Dance Marathon fundraiser in Pauley Pavilion, its first full-scale version of the event since 2019. The event went from noon Saturday to 7 a.m.

After failing to make the NCAA tournament last year, the Bruins redeemed themselves with back-to-back wins against Sacramento State and Oklahoma. With the wins, UCLA will go dancing into the Sweet 16 once again.

Hundreds of students paid their respects to Powell Cat on Thursday evening, writing messages and leaving flowers for the school’s unofficial mascot.

After earning victories against Arizona State, Arizona and Stanford, the Bruins ultimately fell to Washington State in the final.

The Sikh Student Association put on its first cultural night since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Bruins scored season highs on bars and floor in their meet against the Sun Devils and won by a score of 197.800-196.900. Sophomore Jordan Chiles’ perfect 10 on floor led the team’s season high on the event.
