With two new residence halls scheduled to be completed by Fall
2005, second-year students are being given the opportunity to live
on campus next year, continuing UCLA’s transition into a
university in which most students live on campus.
The first cases of the HIV virus were diagnosed and treated over
20 years ago at UCLA. Today, the university continues to take
strides in fighting the epidemic by encouraging and administering
testing for HIV on campus.
