It took seven goals and three blown leads from both teams for the game to be decided, but ultimately the Bruins came out on top Sunday afternoon at Oregon State’s Senior Day in Corvallis, Oregon.
The UCLA men’s volleyball team is headed to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation final and the Daily Bruin beat writers take this week’s podcast to break down the Bruins’ path to get them to this point.
Everything looked like it was going smoothly for UCLA men’s volleyball until the third set.
It was then that Hawai’i changed the existing narrative of the night, momentarily taking advantage of a big lead, repelling a large comeback and forcing the Bruins to spend an extra set to earn the win.
