Sounds of sniffles and scratchy noises of athletic tape being torn filled the Yates Gym at the John Wooden Center on Tuesday morning as the Bruins prepared for practice.
Nearing the Pyramid Room at the John Wooden Center Monday afternoon, one can hear loud music that varies from popular hip-hop to lesser-known African beats and Latin rhythms.
As practice ended on Thursday, the coaches left Yates Gymnasium, but a few gymnasts remained and continued to practice by themselves. Sophomore Samantha Peszek worked on the bars while fellow sophomore Olivia Courtney stayed on the floor and finished stretching.
