More than 500 people crowded into the Macgowan Little Theater at UCLA on Saturday night to attend “Calling for the Beloved,” the first annual Sufi celebration in Los Angeles.

Lukas Brekke-Miesner said when he travelled to Cordoba, Spain,
he learned about a rich new culture and began to identify with the
country’s unique way of life.
