The University of California Title IX coordinator said she opposes the federal government’s decision to change sexual violence and harassment policies.
Suzanne Taylor said in a statement issued Friday she will counter Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos’ proposed changes to Title IX procedures in higher education.

About 150 individuals attended a protest against a speech by a conservative commentator at Bruin Plaza on Monday.
Several student groups, including Socialist Students UCLA and the Young Democratic Socialists at UCLA, organized the protest in response to a lecture by Ben Shapiro at Ackerman Union.
