The movie premiere capital of the world is known for producing
glamorous parades and festivals for Hollywood’s A-list movie
stars, but often at the cost of Westwood Village’s small
businesses keeping the town alive on a day-to-day basis.

Westwood Village is upgrading its palate as a plethora of new
restaurants have come in or plan to move in within the next
month.
Six restaurants are entering the Village, each looking to add
its own distinct taste to the neighborhood’s flavor.

A fire erupted in the Tyler Medical Clinic on Westwood Boulevard
and Le Conte Avenue on Thursday evening shortly before 7 p.m.
The third-floor fertility clinic suffered significant damage,
and the first and second floors of the 921 Westwood Blvd.

many merchants.

The Westwood Village Community Alliance met Wednesday to discuss
the results of its audit, released Tuesday, with local community
organizers and merchants.
The private auditing firm Cannon and Company was hired to audit
the WVCA, the title maintained by the previous Business Improvement
District, for the three fiscal years in which it failed to audit
itself.
