Despite being label mates with the highly successful Interpol,
pop/rock group the New Pornographers never expected popularity. Not
one to follow trends, their dedication to their own sense of good
music has made them one of the most talked-about new bands.
Much like “Cheers,” UCLA’s on-campus radio
station is a place where everybody knows your name.
Formerly KLA, the renamed UCLARadio.com is a launching pad for
UCLA students hoping to gain industry experience, as well as a
forum for friendships to form.
The members of the electronic group Pine*am may live on opposite
sides of the Pacific Ocean, but that hasn’t stopped them from
writing songs together.
The group is currently on tour to promote “Pull The Rabbit
Ears,” its third release, which will be available on May 31.
