The Daily Bruin’s recent editorial criticizing the university’s response to a measles outbreak not only mischaracterized UCLA’s actions, but did not include all of the facts.

In a letter to the editor in Wednesday’s issue of the Daily Bruin, David Horowitz followed up his inflammatory posters with gross accusations about two UCLA student groups, Students for Justice in Palestine and the Muslim Student Association.

As we approach a USAC special election and begin the 2014-15 academic year, it is critical that we all remember what it means to be a part of a world-class institution like UCLA, including the obligations and expectations that come with being a True Bruin.
