‘The most beautiful part of Powell’: Students applaud reopened main reading room

For the first time in two years, UCLA students can use the Powell Library Main Reading Room.
In fall 2022, the library’s main reading room shut down for seismic renovations to meet updated building codes, said Allison Benedetti – associate university librarian for teaching, learning and research – in a written statement.
