The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on Gayley Avenue, one of Westwood Village’s many coffee shops, will close in June.
Danny Hernandez, the store’s general manager, said the shop will close because of financial difficulties.

Students will be able to rent bikes throughout campus and Westwood Village beginning fall 2016.
The bike-share program will allow students to rent a bike for a fee and return it to any other station hub.
The Westwood Neighborhood Council meets monthly to discuss issues pertaining to Westwood Village and the surrounding areas.

Chris Ragsdale, the Los Angeles Police Department’s senior lead officer for Westwood, said there has been some criminal activity in Westwood recently, but the incidents have not been connected.
UCLA and Westwood community members voiced concerns about transportation and parking associated with the planned Geffen Academy at a public meeting Thursday.
On Feb. 10, UCLA released a Draft Initial Study that concluded the upcoming school may increase traffic congestion in the area, but did not predict other environmental impacts.
