With midterms finally out of the way and finals quickly
approaching, students deserve every possible advantage to improve
their chances of attaining top grades. It is thus a good thing for
students to have access to the midterms and finals of their classes
from previous quarters.

Every time I walk through Ackerman Union, I feel like I am
walking through the corridors of a hospital.
The tile floor and white walls surround a crush of students as
they bustle through the halls.

Last week the University of California Office of the President
issued guidelines to the student governments of the nine UCs
regarding the allocation of funding to student groups.

Representatives to the University of California Student
Association have taken it upon themselves to sue Gov. Arnold
Schwarzenegger. The lawsuit claims that the $148 million cuts made
in mid-December to various educational programs, including the UC,
were illegal.

Campus eateries strive to provide the UCLA community with an
array of culinary delights. But the hefty price tag on food is
enough to give a person indigestion.

As an apathetic sophomore, and even more so as an oblivious
freshman, I found myself lugging books, papers and projects around
campus and never exploring alternative transportation modes.

With class enrollment just around the corner, many students are
struggling with decisions about their academic and professional
futures.
I personally face a seemingly endless list of concerns:

Not every party at a fraternity house is a fraternity party. The
practice of renting out chapter houses to third parties has become
commonplace at UCLA and other college campuses ““ where
fraternity houses are privately owned and operated ““ as a
means of raising funds for the chapters’ various activities,
programs and house needs.
