Students flocked to Wilson Plaza on Wednesday for the Student Alumni Association’s annual Beat ‘SC Rally.
Approximately 2,750 people attended the event, a tradition ahead of UCLA football’s yearly rivalry game against USC, according to a written statement from Elizabeth Salgado, a third-year theater student and one of the rally’s directors.

November’s election will impact many of Annabelle Shen’s friends, even though she cannot vote.
“Some of my friends, they want to immigrate here, so maybe they will follow the policies and the elections,” said Shen, a fourth-year geography student from China.
