Around 40 United States Marines were stationed at the Wilshire Federal Building in Westwood – and had detained one person – as of 4:40 p.m Friday.
About 200 Marines arrived in Westwood on Friday morning, according to CBS News.

Speakers called on graduating seniors to embrace UCLA’s values amid recent political challenges at annual College of Letters and Science commencement ceremonies Friday.
The ceremonies, which took place 11 a.m., 3 p.m.
While most Bruins studied for finals, one first-year engineering student said they spent the week begging their father not to go to work.
The student – who was granted anonymity due to their fear of retaliation from the federal government – said they did not want their father to attend work after learning that U.S.
Many recruited athletes explore their options before committing to a college.
Cooper Robinson always knew he belonged at UCLA.
“I grew up loving the school,” Robinson, who has donned blue-and-gold merchandise since childhood, said.
