Bruin Bash 2026 is set to send attendees back to 2016.

With vibrant star-covered posts, the UCLA Campus Events Commission and Cultural Affairs Commission announced Swae Lee as the headliner for this year’s highly anticipated Bruin Bash. The event will also feature openers Kid Ink and KYLE, along with Nebula Star as the DJ. 

The annual concert returns to the Los Angeles Tennis Center on Monday, with doors opening at 8 p.m. and the show starting at 9 p.m.

The organizers also revealed the student DJ lineup – DJ Simbi, Zinane and Teejay – in a yellow Polaroid-style flyer Wednesday, continuing the tradition of putting student talent on the LATC stage. 

Hours after that initial announcement, the organizers announced Nebula Star as this year’s DJ. The Miami-born, LA-based DJ has built a reputation for refusing to stay in one genre, pulling inspiration from underground club music and Caribbean sounds. She arrives at UCLA fresh off a set for Nike at New York Fashion Week, and the post teased that Bruins should expect a 2016-themed set all around – a nostalgia play for the crowd.

Bruin Bash announced opener Kid Ink, the LA-based rapper best known for songs such as “Show Me” and “Main Chick,” along with other 2010s hits, as an opener on Friday. Kid Ink has over six million monthly Spotify listeners and was featured on Fifth Harmony’s 2015 single “Worth It.” The rapper has also released several chart-topping songs with artists such as Chris Brown, Usher and Tinashe.

Later that day, the Bruin Bash Instagram account posted that KYLE would be the next opener. The Ventura-born rapper and singer made his breakout in 2016 with the single “iSpy,” which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. 

Swae Lee was announced as the event’s headliner Saturday. The multi-hyphenate, who is also a part of hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, has performed solo at Coachella in April and the FIFA World Cup Closing Ceremony in July. Swae Lee ranks at No. 66 in the world on Spotify and is known for his work on singles like “Sunflower” with Post Malone for the accompanying soundtrack to “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” which received two Grammy nominations. He has also received writing credits on songs including Beyoncé’s “Formation.”

Bruin Bash returns to LATC, following last year’s event, which featured headliner Smino along with openers BunnaB and DJ Rio Amor. Floor tickets for this year’s event dropped at 3 p.m. on Monday and sold out in around 8 minutes, with bowl tickets dropping the next day and also selling out. 

Bruin Bash 2026 has seen one of the most extensive marketing rollouts in recent years – including two CAC x CEC x ASUCLA collaborative drinks, Bruin Bash Ice Blends – reminiscent of the viral “Unicorn Frappuccino” trend, which took over the internet this summer.

With a 2010s-inspired rollout and lineup, Bruin Bash is set to bring a decade-old soundtrack back to the UCLA stage Monday. 

“BRUINS let’s get HYPE!” the organizers said in their Saturday post announcing the headliner. “Bring flower crowns.”
