Alexandra Olivar, a third-year computer science student, said she noticed a decrease in dining services since the strikes began, adding that food trucks have returned to the Hill after being reduced at the start of the school year.
Olivar also said she has seen particularly long lines in front of the dining halls that remain open. She added that fellow students seem to acknowledge that the workers deserve fair wages, supporting the strikes for the most part.
“They’re willing to inconvenience themselves for a couple days to support that cause,” she said.
