Brian Bergmark, a forensic accountant and business appraiser with experience evaluating economic damages, testified against damage estimates presented by Eric Madsen, an expert witness brought by Klein’s attorneys who testified earlier in the trial.

Bergmark alleged that Madsen’s report improperly attributed lost income to UCLA administrators without evidence. He also said Madsen’s projected growth was “speculative,” considering the consulting industry’s volatility.
