Madsen completed his second day of testimony Wednesday. Judge H. Jay Ford III said UC Regents co-counsel Evan Peña’s questioning about Bates stamps – a numbering system for identifying court documents – during his cross-examination of Madsen was of questionable materiality. Madsen repeatedly said he was not familiar with the naming convention behind Bates stamps in response to Peña’s questioning.
