Bernardo testified that the UCLA Anderson School of Management reported Klein to UCLA’s Title IX office. Heather Caruso, the Anderson School of Management’s Dean of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, emailed the office, attaching screenshots that showed students’ allegations of Klein’s misconduct. One of the screenshots was an email from Klein to a student, in which Klein described her as his “favorite.”

However, Klein’s attorney said that Title IX did not further investigate the issue, adding that none of the students affected had personally reported Klein to the Title IX office.
