The UCLA softball team partnered with the UC Merced Police Department, the UCLA Police Department and UC firefighters to support evacuees and first responders affected by the ongoing wildfires, according to a Thursday evening post by UCPD on the social media platform X. The Bruins helped distribute clothing to those in need at the Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center.
“Thank you to the first responders, firefighters and volunteers for your bravery in protecing our city from the #LAFires,” UCLA softball said in a post on X. “We are grateful to lend a helping hand in these challenging times.”
