In a Thursday email, UCLA Housing Services announced that it would allow unused meal swipes to “roll over” for students on regular meal plans. Ordinarily, students on regular meal plans cannot swipe twice in one meal period. However, students on such meal plans will have their unused swipes from weeks one and two allocated to a separate meal plan, according to the email.

If a student uses multiple swipes in one meal period, the dining system will draw from that separate plan – which will be available until the end of the academic year – UCLA Housing Services said in the email.
