A Town Hall meeting for students began at 3:00 p.m. The town hall opened with Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Monroe Gorden who reminded students of the ongoing online class schedule for undergraduate and graduate classes.

Gordon said that there is an estimated 1,000 to 2,000 students remaining on the Hill. In the event of an evacuation, Gordon said, the university has prepared beds at off-site locations including nearby colleges and universities that could house students if needed.

There is no current evacuation warning or order currently issued for the UCLA campus.
