The area west of Interstate 405 containing the Getty Center and Mount Saint Mary’s University Chalon Campus that was previously under an evacuation mandate for the Palisades fire is now in an evacuation warning zone as of around 2:45 p.m. Sunday. The nearest mandatory evacuation zone is now around 1.3 miles west of the UCLA campus, according to Cal Fire.

UCLA is not under an evacuation warning as of 2:45 p.m. Sunday, but university officials have urged students to be prepared for evacuation mandates. There is still an evacuation warning zone east of I-405 that borders campus as of 2:45 p.m. Sunday.
