UCLA Chancellor Julio Frenk said there are currently no plans to evacuate the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, even if evacuation zones move closer to campus.
“We are not contemplating any scenario to evacuate the medical center,” he said in a Tuesday interview at the UCLA Research Park. “We’re providing a lot of essential services, but we have all the evacuation plans for the rest of the campus.”
