UCLA employees who have lost their homes to wildfires will be provided accommodation by UCLA Housing, said UCLA Office of Emergency Management spokesperson Seán Devine in a Sunday post on the Bruins Safe Online website. The UCLA campus continues to have moderated operations, including holding classes online and asking employees who can work remotely to do so until at least Jan. 17, Devine said.

“UCLA campus operations are running on an emergency status,” Devine said in the post. “UCLA is not under an evacuation warning at this time.”

The post also recommends resources for people impacted by the fires, including links to register for assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Members of the campus community should remain vigilant, Devine said.
