Some UCLA employees received an email Monday telling them they had to do mandatory online evacuation training. The training – which the email said was 15 minutes long – covers evacuation advice and instruction.

“The safety of all employees during an emergency is a top priority at UCLA, and as Bruins, we all have a role to play in emergency response preparedness,” UCLA Fire said in the email. “To keep everyone safe in the event of an emergency, all UCLA campus employees and academic staff are required to take emergency evacuation training within 90 days of assignment.”

As of 9:20 a.m. Monday, there are no evacuation warnings or orders covering the UCLA campus.
