As of 11:04 a.m., the air quality on campus is now “unhealthy” and showing a reading of 151, with everyone expected to be impacted, according to the UCLA Air Quality website. As a result, UCLA is required to limit outdoor work where possible, provide respirators for workers remaining outside and shorten or modify outdoor activities for UCLA athletes.
The UCLA campus does not currently have an evacuation warning or an evacuation order, according to the Cal Fire website.
