UCPD responded to a mutual aid request in Santa Monica Wednesday night where officers arrested an individual found in an evacuation zone after recovering a loaded handgun, according to a post from the social media platform, X.

“Entering evacuation zones with criminal intent is unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” the post said.
