Mimi Teller, the development communications manager with the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region, said in a written statement that the Westwood Recreation Center is not taking clothing donations. She added that the organization is instead hoping to receive donations of money and blood.

The Westwood Recreation Center currently has 235 people sheltering at it and 21 pets.
