In an emailed statement, UCLA Health spokesperson Phil Hampton denied allegations from an AFSCME worker that UCLA Health has failed to provide adequate staffing levels or working conditions to workers.

“UCLA Health and the David Geffen School of Medicine are dedicated to the mission of providing leading-edge patient care, research and medical training,” Hampton said in an emailed statement. “The contributions of all employees are valued, and their collective bargaining rights are respected.”
