The teacher spoke about a Dec. 15 incident where she saw Rodriguez with his upper body on Child A’s chest during nap time. She said when she saw it happening she “had to figure out if I was going to pull him off of her.” The teacher added that Rodriguez was agitated and red-faced afterward, throwing the metal cots in the room as he put them away, and he said to Child A, “I’m sorry … It won’t happen again.” The teacher said it scared her.
