Michael Machat, Rodriguez’s attorney, asked about a blue stick Child B said they were hit with by Rodriguez. Child B’s father said their child told them they, in addition to other students, were hit in the head. Child B’s father also said they were concerned after their child told them about “petting like a kitty,” something the school never notified parents of.
