As UCLA’s Main Campus remains quiet, a group of students with the Bruin Business Literacy club walked out of Haines Hall, discussing their shock at Trump’s lead.

“I didn’t expect it. I thought that it was going to be more leaning towards a Harris presidency,” said Chaldrin Castro, a first-year political science student.

Adrienne Lee, a second-year public affairs and statistics and data science student, said, as someone hailing from a swing state like Wisconsin, the current trajectory of the election was emotional.

“I haven’t really seen that divide, especially because we’re students,” she said
