WEST HOLLYWOOD – Boos erupted from a crowd at a Rocco’s West Hollywood party as Ted Cruz was announced the winner of the Texas Senate race. Cruz, a Republican, was the incumbent candidate and beat Democrat Colin Allred, according to projections from the Associated Press.
