WEST HOLLYWOOD – At an election night watch party hosted by Comedy and Chill, Pixie Indigo – a Democrat from Los Angeles – said the “I Understood the Assignment” movement on the social media app Threads gave her hope today. The movement had Republicans on social media weighing in and saying that they voted for Kamala.

“Maybe we have a chance after all,” Indigo said.

Andia Bruce, another LA Democrat at the party, said she found looking at social media encouraging, adding that she was not feeling nervous at all.
