Nikolas Trendowski, a government employee from Sherman Oaks, said the outcome of this election may be felt immediately.

“The result could affect my day-to-day life because of my job,” Trendowski said. “If it’s an administration that will throw out all federal employees, then I guess I might be out of a job.”

Trendowski, a gay man, also said he was worried about civil rights and women’s reproductive freedoms.

“Rolling back all of the progress that has been made is not something we can do,” he said.
