Daily Bruin receives 20 awards from California College Media Association

The Daily Bruin won 20 journalism awards from the California College Media Association on Saturday. 

The Bruin received first place in eight categories, including best newspaper website, best photo series, best multimedia package and best interactive graphic. The Bruin also won second place awards in five other sections and third place in the category of best newspaper.

The 2022 Excellence in Student Media awards were announced at the Associated Collegiate Press Spring National College Media Conference in Long Beach. The CCMA is made up of journalism faculty across the state who work to support college student journalists. The association hosts its annual awards contest to honor excellence in college journalism.
