Alex Hyun and Jonaki Mehta host fall quarter’s sixth episode of Long Story Short. First, we have astronomy graduate students from the organization Astronomy Live!, Laura Vican, Shane Forewen and earth, planetary and space sciences graduate student Ivy Curren who are all involved in coordinating the “Explore Your Universe” event on Nov. 16 here on campus. Next, UCLA Korean Culture Night executive producer and external finance advisor, and fourth-year business economics major David Kang discusses KCN as well as KCN cast auditions, and Jonaki speaks to collaborators of the “Secret Life of Birds” exhibit, which is an interdisciplinary project involving ecology, design, art, linguistics and technological innovation.
