Letterpress Lives On

By Emily Johnson, Francesca Manto, and Ryan Perera

Feb. 19, 2014 12:30 a.m.

In a world ruled by fast-paced technology, one place continues to thrive in the past. The UCLA Letterpress Laboratory at the Broad Art Center provides a class that gives students a hands-on opportunity to learn the age-old art of typesetting. Students can create unique prints while connecting back to this antique art form. Watch to explore this compact yet quaint room that has more creativity lining its walls than it has square footage.
