By virtue of an 8-0 win over Mississippi State on Tuesday night, UCLA baseball secured the national championship with a sweep in the finals of the College World Series.

Shortly after the Bruins’ victory dogpile and trophy presentation, Bruin Sports senior staffer Tyler Drohan spoke with various members of the team about what the first title in program history meant to them.

The title also extended the school’s nation-leading overall title count to 109.
