Violinist Ji Young An to perform a solo at conductorless UCLA Camarades Ensemble's first concert

April 22, 2010 – The UCLA Camarades Ensemble performs its inaugural concert at 8 p.m. tonight. This is the first time the UCLA Music Department will have a string orchestra without a conductor. Ji Young An will play on the school’s legendary Stradivarius and is the soloist for the Mendelssohn Concerto in D minor.
